Camila Morrone joins forces with horror creators for Netflix
The actress steps into a chilling role as a bride in a haunting wedding story coming soon to Netflix
Camila Morrone is all set to appear in the upcoming Netflix horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, along with Adam DiMarco.
According to Variety, in November this year, it was reported that Morrone and DiMarco were in talks to act in Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen.
The horror series was ordered by Netflix in July and is being created by Haley Z. Boston.
In addition, the Duffer brothers, known for Stranger Things, are serving as executive producers of the show under their deal with Netflix.
Weronika Tofilska, who recently secured a nomination for an Emmy for directing Baby Reindeer on Netflix, has also joined Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen will direct four episodes.
Moreover, the official description of the show reveals it as an “atmospheric horror series set around a wedding.”
It follows the bride (Morrone) and groom (DiMarco) in the week before their doomed nuptials.
The logline humorously points out, “That’s not a spoiler—just read the title…”
For the unversed, the 27-year-old actress of Marmalade recently performed in the critically acclaimed Amazon series Daisy Jones & The Six and earned an Emmy nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actress.
It is pertinent to mention that Camila Morrone will also appear in the upcoming second season of The Night Manager for BBC and Amazon, but the release date is not confirmed.
