Kate Middleton, Prince William take big step after shocking move
“We’re delighted to be working with The Prince and Princess of Wales, who know our Northwest Norfolk communities well”
Princess of Wales Kate Middleton and Prince William have taken a major step two days after skipping pre-Christmas lunch with King Charles at palace.
According to a report by Hello magazine, the future king and queen interrupted their Christmas break from Norfolk as they teamed up with a local mental health charity.
The report revealed William and Kate have confirmed they are collaborating with the Norfolk and Waveney Mind in order to launch a new pilot scheme to support rural and farming communities in the region, the Sandringham Estate.
Reacting to the Kate and William’s move, Sonja Chilvers, the interim CEO of the Norfolk and Waveney Mind, said: “We are all too aware of the specific mental health challenges faced by people in rural settings, particularly those in the farming community.
“We’re delighted to be working with The Prince and Princess of Wales, who know our Northwest Norfolk communities well, and we are keen to see the difference that this pilot will make to local people’s mental health.”
Kate and William’s move comes after they did not join King Charles for the pre-Christmas lunch at Palace on Thursday.
