Jared Leto is returning as a villain and it’s not Joker!

Portraying yet another maniacal villain on screen, the iconic actor, known for his roles as the Joker in Suicide Squad as well as Zack Snyder’s Justice League, would now be taking on the role of Skeletor in the upcoming movie, Masters of the Universe, as per Variety.

The film would be based on the cartoon of the 80s, He Man and the Masters of the Universe as well as its original action figures.

Skeletor, as the name explains, is a skull-faced wizard and the enemy to He-Man, that is, Prince Adam of Eternia, portrayed by Nicholas Galitzine.

For Galitzine, this is not his first time playing the character of a royal, having previously portrayed the character of the fictional Prince Henry in a queer romance film Red, White and Royal Blue on Prime Video.

“By the Power of Greyskull, I HAVE THE POWER,” Galitzine announced on Instagram back in May, breaking silence over his role as He-Man. “I’m so beyond proud to announce that I will be playing Adam, Prince of Eternia in ‘Masters of the Universe’. It has been a dream for so long to play someone of his heart, humour and heroism, I cannot wait to get started,” he further wrote.
