Prince and Princess of Wales unveil Christmas card after last minute delay
Prince William, Kate Middleton share special ‘Christmas and New Year’ message
The Prince and Princess of Wales have unveiled their annual Christmas cart.
The cart, posted on Instagram on Thursday, showcased the picture of Prince William and Kate Middleton along with their royal children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The adorable family photo comes from the video shared by Kate earlier this year, where she announced completing her chemotherapy.
The message along with the Christmas card read, “Wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year” along with “2024” written under Prince and Princess of Wales’ family photo.
Additionally, the caption of the post read, “Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas.”
It is worth mentioning that this Christmas card from William and Kate comes a little late with reports suggesting that they delayed the release due to some last-minute changes.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared their Christmas card featuring rare photos of their children, Archie and Lilibet, it was speculated that the Wales’ postponed their card to make last-minute changes.
On the other hand, the Christmas card release comes after the couple decided to skip the traditional pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.
Royal expert Cameron Walker shared on X (Formerly Twitter), saying, “NEW: The Prince and Princess of Wales will not be attending the lunch at Buckingham Palace today.”
“I understand they look forward to spending time with the family next week at Sandringham, and have already travelled to Norfolk. I’m getting the impression this was always the plan,” he added further.
