Timothée Chalamet makes rare comments on being the ‘hardest working man’
Timothée Chalamet’s movie ‘A Complete Unknown’ is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2024
Timothée Chalamet has opened up about being the “hardest working man.”
In an interview with This Past Weekend podcast, the Hollywood actor candidly discussed his packed schedule.
At the time, he reflected upon his forthcoming biographical movie A Complete Unknown, a story based on the early life of the popular folk singer Bob Dylan.
“You’re never supposed to say you’re competitive but…there’s been a lot of music biopics and I wanted to do a great f****** job,” Chalamet began by saying. “I love Bob Dylan, I love this artist. None of this is for granted.”
Previously, the 28-year-old actor starred in Wonka, Dune: Part Two, A Complete Unknown and filming in his upcoming movie Marty Supreme.
“There is this little misconception about actors too. You can have a cushy job on a TV show. If you give a s*** about your work, it could be a great lifestyle. You’re making like high six figures, low seven figures, and you’re just showing up when you want,” he continued.
“If you give a fuck about what you’re doing…these are long a** days. These are 14-hour days, six days a week, for three months. I know people got it way harder but I want to feel that grit.”
Before concluding, the Little Women actor gave himself the title of “hardest working man” and said, “I hope people don’t laugh at it. I feel like I’m the hardest working man. Maybe I shouldn’t say that. Why do this if you’re not going to go as hard as possible?”
