No Good Deed is a new dark comedy show on Netflix. Friends star Lisa Kudrow, who starred in the limited series, said she instantly came on board without even reading the script.

In a chat with Skip Intro podcast, she said, “My agents called, together, and said, ‘Okay, it’s Netflix. It’s a limited series.’ Alright, that’s good. ‘Liz Feldman, who did…’ And I said, Dead to Me! I know, I know who Liz Feldman is. This sounds like something I want to do.”

Recalling her agent’s words about who would be in the cast, she said, “And also, your character is married to Ray Romano, he’s playing your husband. And Linda Cardellini is in it.”

“I said, ‘Okay, do I need to read the script? I should, right? Should we just say I’m reading the script, but it’s yes?’ That’s how I felt about it,” Lisa concluded.

With a 76% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, No Good Deed led to a consensus of critics on the website, stating, “No Good Deed’s many twists and turns can occasionally feel like a punishment, but an ace cast and rock-solid hook give this comedy a sturdy foundation.”
