Lainey Wilson brings the fire in ‘Yellowstone’s’ finale episode
Lainey Wilson’s unforgettable Billy Bob’s scene takes ‘Yellowstone’ finale to another level
The Season 5 finale of Yellowstone took fans on a journey to Texas, spotlighting a fiery concert scene featuring Lainey Wilson’s Abby at Fort Worth’s iconic music venue.
In Yellowstone season 5, Wilson’s character Abby has come far from performing at local rodeos and played a show at Billy Bob’s Texas, a famous music venue in Fort Worth.
According to its website, Billy Bob calls itself “the world’s largest honky tonk.”
Lonestar Live reported that Wilson had been expecting a concert scene with the Grammy-winning artist, and the scene was eventually recorded in the Fort Worth area, which became a part of season 5’s finale.
The 32-year-old singer and actor’s concert at Billy Bob was a first for her character Abby, but it was not the first time she performed at the famous venue.
For the unversed, the hitmaker of Praying Woman first performed at Billy Bob’s in February 2023 during the Texas Independence Day Jam.
Then in September of the same year, she came back for a solo show, and per Country Now, Wilson had a sound system outage during that show because lightning struck some of her sound equipment.
Wison did not leave the stage when the issues were being fixed; instead, she made use of a megaphone to keep performing.
She indulged in a conversation with the audience to make sure they stayed entertained until the problem was solved.
It is pertinent to mention that other than Lainey Wilson’s performance in the Yellowstone season 5 finale, some acclaimed singers have also performed at Billy Bob’s, such as Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker, Robert Earl Keen, and George Strait.
