Zendaya dishes on her ‘tough days’ filming ‘Euphoria’
Zendaya’s series ‘Euphoria’ 3 production will begin in 2025
Zendaya has opened up about filming her miserable character in Euphoria.
During the conversation with Variety Actors on Actors Interview, the Greatest Showman actress candidly discussed her struggle while filming the teen drama.
“I still have my Rue scars,” she began by saying. “I do know that I like to have fun on my job. I don’t want to be miserable just because the character’s miserable.”
At the time, the Hollywood star reflected upon her miserable drug addicted role of Rue Bennett in the series and said, “On Euphoria, we’d have really, really tough days. I’m like, ‘OK, gotta go cry and knock down a door real quick.’”
“And then I’ll come back like, ‘Hey, Cheesecake Factory? What are we getting for lunch?’ I try my best to leave them at work and go home and live my life and be a person.”
“We’re supposed to do another season,” Zendaya referred towards a season 3, which will begin filming in January 2025, of the series.
Before concluding, she shared, “I’ve only done two, but it feels like five. One season of Euphoria is like, ‘Phew’!”
For those unversed, Euphoria season 2 is reportedly the most watched second show of HBO behind only Game Of Thrones.
