Chris Rock reacts to Luigi Mangione’s alleged crime
Chris Rock shares his two cents on Luigi Mangione’s alleged killing in a hilarious manner
Chris Rock has joked that the alleged criminal Luigi Mangione would be dead if he looked like actor Jonah Hill.
Taking to the Saturday Night Live stage, the Madagascar alum hilariously said, “We got Luigi … you know. And that’s good. I really feel sorry for the family. I mean, everybody is fixated on how good this guy looks.”
“If he looked like Jonah Hill, no one would care. They’d already given him the chair already. He’d be dead, OK?” the 59-year-old quipped.
Chris continued his joke, “I mean, I have condolences … I have real condolences for the health care CEO. This is a real person, you know?”
“But you also got to go, ‘You know, sometimes drug dealers get shot.’ I mean, you’ve seen ‘The Wire,’ right?” the Grown Ups star said, leading to a wave of laughter.
Apart from this, the comedian also weighed in on the high-profile boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, which the latter won last month.
“Who is this Jake Paul?” he asked. “This 27-year-old punching a 60-year-old in the face. Is this what the white man has reduced himself to? Stop it!”
“Who’s he going to fight next, Morgan Freeman? I hate Jake Paul. I got landlord hate for him,” Chris said drawing out a laughter from the audience.
