‘Yellowstone’ actor makes shocking confession about Kevin Costner
Yellowstone actor Luke Grimes has addressed his now former-costar Kevin Costner’s exit from the show.
In an interview with Esquire, Grimes talked about the temperature on set after Costner’s character was killed off following five seasons on the hit show.
The 40-year-old actor, who plays son Kayce Dutton to Costner’s John Dutton III in the series, revealed that the departure of the 69-year-old actor made the final installment of the hit Western show “the easiest season” the crew has filmed.
“To be really honest, there was a part of Kevin being gone that meant some of the conflict was gone. Obviously, it didn’t make it super fun to be around,” the actor said.
Grimes labelled the latest edition show’s “easiest season” they have ever filmed.
Costner previouisly told Deadline about the show that he does not “want to get down in the gutter: with the Yellowstone “thing”.
“But what I’m telling you is straight up. I have taken a beating from those f—— guys,” the actor said, adding, “I know a lot of times where it’s coming from. I just elected not to get into that.”
The finale episode of Yellowstone airs on Saturday, December 15.
