Sean Diddy Combs, Luigi Mangione to share ‘same floor’ in prison eventually
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Luigi Mangione are being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Luigi Mangione are expected to end up on the same floor in jail at some point.
The music mogul, 55, and the Ivy League engineer, 26, are currently in “separate floors” as they await trial over several federal charges, but “will be on the same floor together at some point,” Page Six quoted a prison consultant Sam Mangel.
As of now, Mangione is “still being held in observation, or in the Special Housing Unit (SHU),” Mangel explained of the small solitary-confinement cell.
“Luigi has not been moved into general population yet, which is where Sean Combs is being held,” Mangel added.
While Combs is awaiting his May 2025 trial over sex trafficking, rackateering, and providing transportation for prostitution, Mangione has been indicted for first-degree murder and several other federal charges like murder and stalking.
Mangione—accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in broad daylight in New York City on December 4—pleaded not guilty on Monday and has been set for a court appearance on February 21.
