King Charles’ surprise move could pave the way for Prince Harry reunion
King Charles made a surprise decision on Christmas day regarding Prince Harry, expert
King Charles decision to exclude Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the Royal family’s Christmas celebrations at Sandringham may be a step towards reunion, a royal expert has claimed.
According to royal commentator Jennie Bond, the monarch is slowly accepting Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back as senior royals.
She said that while Charles’s decision might seem like a snub, it could be a sign of a more inclusive understanding of what it means to be a member of the Royal family.
She said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would not have been “surprised” by not getting an invite from the monarch.
“As time goes by, I think Harry becomes more and more set on making a happy, settled life in California with his wife and children,” she told The Mirror.
“It may be that he and the King exchanged some form of message at Christmas time, we simply don’t know and it is right that it should remain private.
“I don’t think they would have been in the least surprised that they didn’t feature in any way in the celebrations at Sandringham.”
