Shaboozey marks major milestone with ‘A Bar Song’
Shaboozey released his country-genre oriented song ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ on April 12, 2024
Shaboozey just achieved a major musical milestone.
He has now become the latest musician to join other artists in the Spotify’s Billions Club as his track, A Bar Song (Tipsy) crossed a billion streams on the platform.
The American singer and producer uploaded the achievement on his official Instagram account, via the app’s Stories feature, where he could be seen in a white outfit and fur hat. The outfit appeared to be the same as he wore during his performance with Beyonce on Christmas for the NFL.
“A billion streams + Beyoncé bowl on the same day. It’s a Christmas miracle,” he wrote underneath his picture.
While he also shared a photo of the billions club photo from Spotify with a caption that read: “Best Christmas gift ever @spotify.”
With respect to statistics, A Bar Song (Tipsy) is at the same level as I Hope by Gabby Barrett, a chart-topping song of the 2020.
Both tracks hold the record for the longest Number One on the US Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart of this decade, that is a total of 27 weeks on the top of the chart.
As per Luminate, Shaboozey has garnered 17.5 million streams and 63.8 million airplay audience impressions since May, by the grace of A Bar Song (Tipsy).
