Meghan Markle shares insight into celebrating Christmas with Archie, Lilibet
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been celebrating Christmas in US without Royal family since 2020
Meghan Markle shared insights into celebrating Christmas with her and Prince Harry’s kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed she and the Duke follow a sweet holiday tradition in the US with their kids while speaking with Marie Claire.
Meghan shared she leaves out carrots for Santa’s reindeer, and expressed her excitement for her children to experience the magic of the season.
“At first, I think as a mom with children you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet,” she said on spending holiday as a family.
Meghan added, “But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”
She went on to shed light on the significance of Archie and Lilibet experiencing the “magic” of traditions such as “great recipes that they end up connecting to a formative memory.”
The Sussexes celebrate Christmas every year without the Royal family since Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working Royals in 2020.
A source recently revealed to The Mirror that King Charles misses Archie and Lilibet on Christmas and even has “expressed his wishes to see his grandchildren.”
“There is no feeling like being a grandparent and it is a role King Charles relishes,” they added. “It is his hope for his family to be reunited and there’s no better way than spending quality time with his grandchildren at Christmas.”
“It would be truly special.”
