Kate Middleton puts up an ‘upbeat’ face for Christmas

Kate Middleton praised for her body language ahead on Sandringham walkabout

Kate Middleton’s confident body language is lauded as she walks alongside the Royal Family in Sandringham.

The Princess of Wales, who carried out her yearly tradition of morning prayers at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, was joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and her three children.

Speaking about Kate’s charming walkabout, body language expert Judi James told Fabulous: “Kate’s outfitlooked significant in terms of her recovery, not because of the earthy country green shade, which toned with the other top tier royals, creating a message of unity and team bonding, but because of her hat, which was a small green beret/fascinator.

“Kate arrived at church walking crowd-side and had she worn a wide-brimmed hat as she has in the past, there would have been an option of partly hiding her face if she felt vulnerable.

“A smaller hat like hers tends to signal strength and a more confident, upbeat approach, and that was reflected in her beaming smile as she passed the fans.

“On arrival Kate clutched Louis’s hand in a very confidently ‘lead’ gesture with her hand placed firmly on top, while William walked with George and Charlotte.”

Judi also declared “the emphatic return of Kate’s dimpled smile”, as she added: “Which is always one step up from the pitch-perfect royal smile she does so well.”
