King Charles, Queen Camilla spread holiday love with heartwarming Christmas message
Royal family releases sweet video to celebrate Christmas after going through ‘brutal’ year
King Charles and Queen Camilla dropped a magical wish for their fans and well-wishers to mark the occasion of Christmas.
The royal couple shared the holiday greeting on their official Instagram account, spreading joy and love, after going through a “brutal” year marred by the monarch and Kate Middleton’s respective cancer diagnosis.
Sharing a snap of the Sandringham estate, the Royal family penned a sweet caption, “Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!”
Charles, Camilla and the rest of the Royal family members, except Prince Andrew and his family, are at Sandringham to celebrate Christmas.
According to The Mirror, the Royals have to follow a packed 72-hour schedule that plans out their entire holiday.
Speaking with the publication, royal expert Robert Jobson revealed that this tradition was started by the late Queen Elizabeth II and is still going strong.
The expert noted that the schedule can become overwhelming as it comes with multiple outfit changes and activities, including watching the King’s Christmas message together.
“The schedule still exists and it’s really quite exhausting,” Jobson said. “One minute you’re doing one thing, then you have to change for drinks, then get changed again for dinner.”
“They retire there to watch the King’s pre-recorded Christmas message at 3pm, all standing for the National Anthem,” he added.
As per reports, Camilla and Kate Middleton, along with her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, will go to their respective side of the families after the lunch, to spend the rest of the day there.
