Stevie J addresses serious allegations against Diddy in his latest interview
Stevie J has revealed Sean “Diddy” Combs was on drugs when he assaulted his girlfriend Cassie in a hotel in 2016.
The DJ and record producer shared his thoughts on the serious allegations against the rapper during an appearance in the TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy.
“It really threw me for a loop,” Stevie J said about the viral clip of Diddy beating up Cassie, which was released by CNN earlier this year.
He further said, “I always think about and talk about things I know to be true about Sean Combs. After I saw the video, I went and saw him in Miami and we had a conversation.”
“And I let him know how affected I was by that. I didn’t know he had that in him to do that,” the Love & Hip Hop star continued.
Stevie added that Diddy was also hurt by his actions in the clip.
“It was a real emotional moment,” he admitted. “He was hurt that that video came out, it crushed him.”
“I just know that he was in a dark place in his life. He was just doing a lot of drugs and it was just dark for him,” revealed Stevie.
