General Hospital actress Brooklyn Rae Silzer spoke for the first time about her ‘sad’ exit from the hit drama.

The 18-year-old actress took to her social media on Monday and addressed her departure from the show after playing Emma Drake for 13 years.

Silzer posted an emotional tribute the same day her character was taken over by Braedyn Bruner, thanking everyone in the series.

“To my amazing General Hospital family who have supported me and watched me grow up over the years as Emma I am forever grateful,” she penned on her X account. “Although sad my time as Emma has come to an end I will cherish all of my memories and friendships made. I am so lucky to have been casted as Emma 13 years ago and to have had the opportunity to grow her character over the years.”
