Kim Kardashian’s appearance in bizarre music video sparks Satanism panic
Kim Kardashian makes appearance in a music video for her brother-in-law Travis Barker’s newly-produced song
Kim Kardashian is breaking the internet with her appearance in a music video for a song produced by her brother-in-law Travis Barker.
The Kardashians star, 44, took to Instagram with a clip from the music video in which the mother-of-four appears to be in comatose state, crawling around a traditional American household as bizarre events unfold.
The track was recorded during a season three episode of her family’s reality show The Kardashians, which aired last year. Her brother-in-law Travis Barker produced the song and it was released through his DTA Records and her Kimsaprincess, Inc.
Directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis, the film is made to look like old VHS footage, featuring a woman hacking down a Christmas tree at one point, a man dressed as Jesus Christ walking through the chaotic home, and a Santa suit holding a camcorder. It is then revealed to be Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.
However, Kim’s fans were displeased by the video and went on to accuse her of blasphemy.Â
“Girl what the fuck is this,” one person asked Kim in the comments, with another writing, “What in the methamphetamine Christmas blasphemy is this?”
A third viewer was also in fumes, saying, “The worst thing I’ve ever seen. Like Satan directed it.”
However, didn’t find it entirely in bad taste as one predicted it was “an American Horror Story teaser” and a second lauded the trainee lawyer for her versatility.
“Creativity at 100! I love how you consistently challenge the status quo. Keep them talking,” read the comment.
The SKIMS founder previously got slammed for posting a selfie with entrepreneur Michèle Lamy, whose eccentric appearance often incorporates elements of witchcraft and the occult.
“Life lately,” Kim captioned a carousel of recent photos she posted last month.
“You wear the cross and then take a picture with that woman? Blasphemy,” read one comment, referring to the fourth picture in the carousel.
The comment section filled up with dozens more similar accusations, with one raising, “Fourth pic shows what entity you worship.. smh,” and another writing, “Girl why are you hanging out with satan.”
