Who was Kieran Culkin in ‘Home Alone’?

Actor Kieran Culkin also played a role in iconic movie Home Alone along with his elder brother Macaulay Culkin.

He, however, did not know that Macaulay Culkin, was the star of the Christmas movie until the premiere.

 Kieran Culkin played Fuller McCallister, Kevin’s cousin in the movie that hit theaters in earlier 1990.

In an interview with LA Times, he said that he didn’t realize the film’s plot or his brother’s leading role. 

The actor recalled being on set often but was misled by co-star Devin Ratray, who played Buzz, into believing the movie was all about him.

Kieran said: “Devin Ratray, the guy who plays Buzz, lied to me and told me the movie was all about him. I had no idea what the movie was about when I saw it – and I was in it!

“I was at the premiere, and I was dying laughing. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen. I had no idea what the movie was about,” he said.

He added: “And then when I saw it, the movie’s cracking me up, and I go, ‘Mac was on set all the time’. That makes sense the movie would be about him.”

Kieran also shared his simple instructions during filming: “Drink this Coke, wear the glasses, say the thing that you memorized, look cute and go home.”
