Blake Lively’s recently filed legal lawsuit against It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni could reportedly go on a high-profile trial.

For the unversed, the 37-year-old actress accused the 40-year-old actor-director of sexually harassing her on the set of the movie, based on Colleen Hoover’s best selling novel of same name.

Lively also accused Baldoni of aiming to “destroy” her reputation with bad publicity.

Now, as reported by Daily Mail, a Los Angeles-based attorney Gregory Doll, who is not involved in the litigation, in an interview with People Sunday predicted the future about the newly filed lawsuit.

Doll noted that if the two parties are “unable to reach an accord in terms of a settlement”, the Gossip Girl alum could “go to court now and submit her claim there” against Baldoni.

Moreover, the attorney revealed that the cases involving “intensely personal” issues “could wind up in trial”.

“The most likely cases that don’t are the ones like these where it gets intensely personal between two people,” Doll noted.

According to the attorney, Blake Lively “could hypothetically be motivated to go to trial to draw more attention to information she learns in the discovery process”.

He also predicted to the same outlet that there’s a “100 hundred percent” chance that Justin Baldoni files a countersuit against the actress.
