King Charles faces dilemma as monarch set to address Prince Andrew’s latest scandal
King Charles expected to address Prince Andrew’s spy scandal amid ongoing Royal Lodge drama
King Charles expected to address the latest scandal surrounding his “disgraced” brother Prince Andrew after his ties to Chinese spy were exposed.
According to latest report, the monarch may be forced to directly address the situation after the Duke of York backed out of attending annual Royal Christmas bash at Sandringham.
Royal commentator Sarah Louise Robertson told GB News that Charles may also ask Andrew to vacate the Royal Lodge amid mounting pressure from Royal family to take an action against him.
Speaking with the publication, the expert said Andrew’s actions have left the King with no choice but to intervene.
“It’s probably a shame for him that this has happened yet again, and there’s an ongoing situation that the King at some point is going to have to address,” she said.
“I think something’s going to have to give, and if Andrew is serious about showing his brother and the royals and Britain that he is sorry for situations that he’s at the centre of, this would maybe go some way to apologising and doing that,” the expert added.
