Prince Harry, Meghan Markle ‘on the same page’ despite separate lives
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been making solo appearances, sparking split rumours
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are leading separate professional lives, but their family life is still unaffected, an insider has revealed.
According to a source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to make a major change to their work strategy after Meghan grew tired of being seen as a “package deal.”
Harry and Meghan have been making solo appearances, with the Duke recently attending the DealBook Summit in New York while the Duchess dazzled on the red carpet at The Paley Center for Media Gala.
Speaking with In Touch Weekly, the source said Meghan wanted to maintain her independence which caused tension between the couple, but they eventually came to a place of understanding.
“While others might consider the long-distance nature of their relationship a big deal, Harry and Meghan don’t,” the insider said.
“Meghan got tired of always being a package deal,” they added. “She’s long been super independent, which has caused some tension, but now she and Harry are on the same page.”
The insider said while the couple is focused on their individual pursuits, their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, would always be their priority as they make sure they’re both there “for all the important events in their lives.”
“They can be apart without any jealousy, but it’s crucial they come together as a family.”
